The transaction failed: You tried sending an asset to a wallet that does not trust it., but trustline seems to be ok

I keep getting this error when trying to send ETH to my apay.io withdrawal account, however, i have assigned the proper trust line for the pay.io account (it says so as much on my stellar network options, and the transactions which assigned the trustline. 

I even deposited .5 XLM to my  the pay.io, as i thought there needed to be some XLM on the accounbt for the trustline to "take" but it did't work. 

Am I doing it wrong? i've been trying to do this all afternoon, and for tthe first time in my life i felt old and frustrated (it was bound to happen at sometime in my age, but inever thought it wouldbe like this, but i digress)

Error i am getting is:

There was an error in submitting the transaction to the stellar network. The transaction failed for the following reason(s):

• 1) You tried sending an asset to a wallet that does not trust it.

I'd greatly appreciate any guidance, as im almost sure i'm doing something wrong.
