Assessing Stellarport Assets

THIS SECTION IS VERY IMPORTANT 

Stellarport is a client that connects you to a decentralized exchange. This means that ANYONE (including scammers) can create an asset on the exchange (and it will be shown to you by Stellarport). You must do your own due diligence. Do not automatically trust assets you see on Stellarport. Follow the instructions below to protect yourself:

Assets on Stellarport are put in one of 3 categories:

1. Known
2. Unknown
3. Reported

• Known assets are known to Stellarport. This means that we have done a minimum amount of research into the validity of the asset and team. This DOES NOT mean that we guarantee the asset in any way. It simply means that you are less likely to get scammed, you should still do your own research before investing.
• Unknown assets are not known to Stellarport. This means that the asset has been listed because if is available on Stellar but we have not done any research whatsoever into the asset. The asset could be really high quality or a complete scam.
• Reported assets have been reported as scams or abusing users in some way.

Additionally, you will see a score that is assigned to each asset. This score is generated by Stellarport using network data. It does NOT guarantee anything. Generally speaking though, a higher score will result in a more trustworthy asset. You can use the score as a factor in your research.
